Activity-1: Plantation Drive
Venue: Office of the Indian Council of Social Welfare – Assam State Branch

Paryavarn Mitra Guwahati Parivar visited the Assam State Branch office of Indian Council of Social Welfare (for needy women and children) and organized an awareness program cum plantation drive with the women and children.

Mr. Talukdar, AM appliances, represented Paryavaran Mitra in addressing the participants. He explained the importance of such initiative in present times and also the objectives and initiatives of Paryavaran Mitra in this regard.

Mrs. Anjali Baruah- Working President and Mrs. Dipti Baruah- Gen. Secretary of Indian Council express there views on improving polluted environment. They also thanked PM for taking such timely steps towards environmental protection and assured us of future cooperation from their end.

After the discussion PM members and the children present their join hands and planted 50 tree saplings in the premises.

Activity-2: Awarenes Programme conducted at the Training program for Service Technicians by the BSSM at Guwahati office on 18th July 2008.
